Yes, you’re self-booking! You’re a self-managed artist and you’re trying to secure more performance opportunities. That means, you’ll need to send your own pitch emails.
Keep in mind that presenters get hundreds of booking inquiries. Use this email to briefly outline why you’re the right fit for their series, festival, venue, studio, conference, convention, etc.
- Use a clear, succinct subject line (i.e.: Booking Inquiry – Ensemble Ikat October Date at Roulette?).
- Be informative, yet brief, in the body of the email. It is also necessary to include a link to where the presenter can listen to your music.
